A Light Touch
Soothing Muscle Soak
Mix 3 cups of Epsom Salts and
1/2 c. Apple cider vinegar
Fill regular size bathtub with hot water
and soak for a minimum 20 minutes.
Every day we are exposed to pollutants, and toxins. They are in the air
we breathe, and in the water we drink. The less we exercise the more
toxins build up in our bodies. The more toxins that accumulate the
sicker and more sluggish we feel and the duller our skin becomes...
Detoxifying Bath

10 oz Baking Soda
Add 4-5 drops of Jasmine or
Lavender essential oil (optional)
Pour into a regular size bathtub
of hot water and soak for 20-30
minutes.
Repeat once a day for the next
3-5 days, then continue the
baths up to 3 times per week as
needed.

Effective Facials and Skin Care
Strawberry Facial Mask
Adapted to be milk free from Janice Cox’s Natural Beauty
for All Seasons
In her recipe preamble she states:
[strawberries] make an excellent skin-softening facial
mask. A member of the rose family, strawberries contain
salicyclic acid, which rids the skin of dead cells, allowing it
to absorb moisture more efficiently. Strawberries also
have a mild bleaching effect on the skin and help heal
blemishes.
For a single facial mask, thaw one whole frozen strawberry in a small cup in the
microwave. Frozen strawberries are good to use for this recipe because they let off a
lot of juice when thawed.
Mash up the slightly warm strawberry to a pulp and stir in 1-2 Tbs of cornstarch to
form a smooth paste.
Slather the paste on to your face and neck and allow to dry, 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse
off with warm water.
